Just curious, wouldn't parties on other sides of the political spectrum be difficult to work with in a coalition?

I don't think you understand where the LDP is on the political spectrum.

Yes I do. It was just a random question.

The LDP is economically centre-right and socially liberal. The centre-right comes in with moderate welfare, public education and a mixed market way of handling utilities and public works.

And the basis of our coalition is being the middle of the road choice, and that's where we'll stay.

I see. What is the status of the ruling coalition? And who is the president of Elizia and which party does he belong to?

The President is Raharjo Iskandar Bambang a member of the Elizia First party and the ruling coalition is comprised of left of center dingwad populists who hate liberal economics.

I am Raharjo Iskandar-Bambang and I approve of this message.

Okay, the Whip for this vote is as follows:

Government Tax Revenue Act: FREE
Criminal Code: Two Line Whip FOR
Unemployment Insurance Clarification Act: Two Line Whip FOR
Federal Civil Service Act: Unsure*

*I made a list back home, currently at work. If someone in the EBoard would be kind enough to remind me of what that whip was, I'd appreciate it. TGs will be sent out upon confirmation.

Social Liberal Party Headquarters
Evening of 2 September 2016

As the sun was setting on another day in Elizia, a convoy of fully marked police vans sped through the city from the Capital Police Headquarters towards the Main Office of the Social Liberal Party. The vans were filled to the brim with fully geared tactical officers from the Department's Tactical Unit. The vans bumped along the roads with their fully blacked out windows concealing them from public view. Monitoring this warrant execution was the Commissioner himself, and the entire team was expected to perform flawlessly.
Expectations were high as the vans pulled in front of the Social Liberal Party's headquarters. The side doors quickly swung open and most of the teams rushed towards the main entrance of the party headquarters while a dozen regularly clothed police officers sealed the entrances to the facility, tying crime-scene tape around the entire building. This was going to be high-profile, and as such they planned ahead of time for any press attempting to gain access to the scene. While the exterior of the building was being sealed off by the police, the tactical officers stormed into the main lobby of the headquarters, shouting for the location of Sayid Kasturi, and his office. They did not expect Adil Kasturi to be in the headquarters, but they were to be prepared to deal with such a psychotic murderer should he be in the office headquarters.

Let's back date this like yesterday because I was busy with PTA and vomiting and couldn't post this then.

The Social Liberal Party

The Social Liberal Party is saddened and shocked to hear about the senseless murder of our Parliamentary colleague Sa Ri An. Her death at the hands of an armed criminal has rocked our nation to its very core, and our hearts are with her family in this terrible time. Sa Ri An was a woman of honour, of integrity and of deep conviction. Through all debates political and all qualms legal, she proved herself as a strong, capable legislator who fought for her principles with unrelenting determination. These values that she demonstrated her entire live are emblematic of what we should all strive to be. Her values were Elizian values, and all Elizians mourn for her loss. Sa Ri An dedicated her life to this nation, and she paid a price for it.

In the coming days, the SLP and its membership will be doing everything it can to help bring justice for Sa Ri An and do good by her memory. The party has known no greater or respectable individual in its political history, and we honour her lifetime of service to Elizia and her people.

We very much wish for the murderer to be apprehended and for justice to be rendered upon the perpetrator of this terrible act. Political violence can never be tolerated in Elizia, and the Social Liberal Party condemns it in the strongest possible terms.

Since I'm the Shadow Environment and Rural Affairs Secretary, I've decided to start working on a bill that provides government-subsidized transportation services to rural Elizians. I've got some basic ideas, but no bill, yet. I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to co-write the bill. I plan on trying to get sponsors and feedback from both the Opposition and Government.
You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

If you want, I could help; in a way, it is Social Development (as in helping rural Elizians and the development of rural areas (which I can pretend is culture based stuff, and will also impact urban affairs), if you see what I'm trying to say). If you want me to have a look at it or help you, TG me.

Being the Shadow Public Services Sec. I'm sure I can help, considering Transportation is in my portfolio.
