Every company in the Senate has done that. Off the top of my head, I remember a bunch of arms companies, MGE's bank, Mediciano's whatever company, NewZep's conglomerate (in Aurentina, Baltonia and Calaverde) and that private Calaverdean university thing. Dragomere's claims were ridiculous because he claimed all of an entire field (100% of a country the size of Canada) at prices that made no sense (5 cents for 1 GB of data) for services that didn't exist (5G mobile broadband).

A few more questions for all senators.

- Why did you enter politics?
- Do you support same-sex marriage?
- What is your favourite sport?

It was a natural transition really, I worked extensively in the world of politics and foreign affairs for years. Prior to my election I written several essays and articles regarding politics. It seemed only natural that I take my political though and apply it in a real world scenario.
Malgrave wrote:- Do you support same-sex marriage?

I don't personally agree with it but I'm also not one to be hateful towards another person simply for being different wether it's by birth or by choice. I find it a non-issue for myself. Not to say it's not importent, I just feel things like the budget, taxes, national security and the like are more importent to me. If we were to have a vote on the matter I would most likely abstain from said vote.
Malgrave wrote:- What is your favourite sport?

I find Handball to be a particularly fun sport and it's been a favorite of mine since I was a child. I can't really play all that much anymore given my age. My range of movement and agility have suffered with time but I still find it fun to watch none the less now a days.

  • Why did you enter politics? - It occurs to me that it is a remarkably common question for me, where many people, from my co-workers to my personal friends, about my decision to enter politics instead of continuing my career as a medical doctor. After all, is relieving people from their ailment and occasionally saving them from literal death more desirable than wasting time on lengthy debates on the Senate ground. At first, I thought the same as well. However, as I travelled around the world, working to help the locals overcoming their illness, I realised that such action, although still very important, is more often than not treating merely the symptoms of the true illness: the illness of the society. Even with ample resources, I might be able to suppress the sickness of maybe a dozen thousand people for my entire life. However, if I can manage to treat the true disease plaguing the entire country, millions would no longer be suffering from the lurking ailments entirely. Because of that, I think one can consider it merely a logical extension of my ultimate goal of healing people.
  • Do you support same-sex marriage? - My stance on same-sex marriage is that the current legal system of marriage as a whole proved to be problematic and ultimately unsuited to the current incarnation of our society. While marriage has been an integral part of all human civilisations since the dawn of organisation, the advent of contraceptives, constant increase in cost for raising offspring, as well as emergence of fluid social relations mean that a concrete, heterosexual monogamous system might need some tailoring to fit our current society better. Although such in important issue will take more than a simple answer to be fully delivered, and an abridged version will merely draw misunderstanding - either unintentional or otherwise - I should note that I support the expansion of most privileges currently enjoyed by married couples to their homosexual counterparts. If my ideal come into fruition, the gender composition of couple should not be factor within the legal system at all.
  • What is your favourite sport? - Equestrianism. I have always been partial to my equine friends. It has been said that "there is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man", and I wholly agree. Indeed, when I am taking a leave from politics or work in general, I like to ride on a horse and simply run across the beautiful land of our country, enjoying all she offers with my trusty steed. It can be a wonderful, even meditating experience.

Davincia wrote:"Do you believe Dagmar should cooperate with the US in eliminating ISIL?"

While I thoroughly support the international coalition's efforts against Islamic State, I believe that until we have a stronger and more capable military, we should take a backseat. Nevertheless, we should do all we are able to do in our current position to stop the spread of IS.

Malgrave wrote:Why did you enter politics?

I entered politics because I was sick and tired of hearing the same old kind of politics. The people of Dagmar need strong leaders willing to do what needs to be done, and I believe that delusional voices on the left, along with weak representation of the right, would end up doing great damage to this country.

Do you support same-sex marriage?

I believe that marriage is a sacred union of God that is meant to be between one man and one woman.

What is your favourite sport?

Mushki Erinson - UNNAMED PARTY
Image

Account Name: Democratic Peoples Republic of Kelvinsi
Occupation: Politician
Party Position(s): Vice-Chair
Positions in Government: Senator
Constituency: Rorcksinflinkgen Mountains
Political Ideology: Northern Sovereignty
Family: N/A
Background:
Born in a remote island off the coast of Dagmar, Erinson was born into an impoverished minority family. His family barely had any money, and they were unable to afford heating on the small island. It was because of the lack of heating 3 of Erinson's siblings died during a particularly harsh winter. Food was hard to come by as well, and they were forced to scavenge, and hunt for food during the winter. The family had barely enough to get by. However, Erinson did well in school, and was accepted into the prestigious University of Dagmar in the Capital on a full scholarship which gave his family one less mouth to feed.

During his stay in the capital he realized the vast income inequality affecting the country, with the people in the capital having much better living conditions than the people of the north. This strengthened his political views, and made him a hardliner soverigntist who prioritized the independence of the province more than anything else. He believed that the mainstream Pagan parties are too moderate, and do not care about the people of the north, and still concentrate on the capital, and cities. He alongwith a fellow senator founded the UNNAMED PARTY, a party to promote the values of the people of the north, and to pave the way for eventual independence of the northern province.

He is supportive of his party, due to the fact that it strives to protect the interests of the northern province. He often makes speeches rebuking federation with the rest of Dagmar.

Faith: Mainstream Pagan
Likes: Sovereignty, Northern nationalism, Pagan culture, Northern culture, Paganism, Self-determination
Dislikes: Dagmar, Unitarianism, Communism, Socialism, Federalism

My experiences as the leader of the campaign for fair pay and treatment for workers in the pilgrimage industry in my hometown and the dumbing down of my city's ancient tradition to creators of profit resulted in my eventual successful campaign for mayor in my hometown, to ensure these campaigns were successful. However, neither could I bear to see the ruthless exploitation of workers in other places in Dagmar, which drove me to recently move my political from the municipal to the legislative level, likewise representing my constituents in the process in our legislature.

I was on first-name terms with my entire town council and several national politicians by the time I was in my teens. After the decade or so I spent in the service, I decided entering our legislature and offering my talents to its people was the next reasonable course of action.
