I remember you from the Political Party Game that was set up a while back. Y'know? The one where I somehow managed to be the biggest party?

I didn't set it up, but I was like the guy who influenced at least half the decisions to go my way because, for some reason, people seemed to think I knew a lot of shite about it.

I lost a lot of credibility though when I suggested that it would be best to have an even ratio of men to women, but whatever.

So, yep.

Oh and yes, the OP was so very confused about the rumors. I remember TGing him and he was still just as confused. So funny, but it worked none the less.

Hehe... Hahahaha...

It was so nice, and I ruled a lot of it. Brought secularism with a fully written out bill, same-sex marriage with the help of my fellow government mate, and universal free healthcare. Ah, so nice.

I kind of wished there were more conservative parties to utterly crush with our coalition :p

Anyway, Atlanticatia has proposed a basic tax code, so you may want to take a look at that!

Not really, as long as the tax money is put to good use, I have no problems with it. I already saw the suggestion you made, and I just kinda went with it.

So, since we're going to be in a Spanish speaking country, we need a Spanish name. We could do
El Partido de la Izquierda Democrática, or
La Izquierda Democrática, or something different. Does anyone have suggestions?

Only a mere sophomore learning Spanish, but the first one is good for the official party title where as the second can be used for short hand for the party.

Should we have a bit more of a green orientation, too? I realise there are no NSGS green parties, so we would be able to attract environmentalist members, too, and fill that space.

I think that we should add thorium energy to our platform, and support renewables. But no anti GMO nonsense hopefully.

Yes, no alternative medicine rhetoric, too.

But personally I'm in favor of a carbon tax.

I'm all for this. On a random thought, does anyone know how's solar in South America? I've got a pet love for micro-generation but know next to nothing on the topic :3

I have no idea to be honest. :P

Building a high tech renewable energy sector could be a huge part of our economic policy.

It's pretty big there, but hydroelectric is even bigger.
