It's why I have my music on all the time and I have good friends around, it balances out

I have been meaning to ask you. What sort of music genres appeal to you?

I have a varied taste

I can listen to everything at least once and try it, but I've been inclined more to the electronic genres: house, electronica, techno, all that since I was little.

First of all, I said my mental problems - Meaning my schizoaffective disorder, high anxiety disorder, etc. I wasn't saying "oh your life is so much better than mine" i was saying I have mental illnesses that make taking are of myself extremely difficult.

But if you want to turn this into a competition to see who has the shittiest life, sure, let's do it.
I was sexually abused by my father and verbally and physically abused my my mother.
My aunt killed herself because of me.
I was raped not long after that, and forcibly impregnated. I almost died having a DIY abortion.
My mother abandoned me. My father then didn't want to see me.
My brother was placed into full-time residential program because he tried to fucking kill someone at the age of 11.
He was raped last year at this school.
Before that, I was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car in front of my entire university - TWICE - because my therapist decided that I was a "danger" to the community, even though I had done nothing.
At the institution they forced my into, I was coerced into stating that I was "there voluntarily," because they told me they would label me as unstable for as long as I refused to stay as a voluntary patient. That incurred a fucking awesome $5k bill, thanks.
Then I was kicked out of my university because I am disabled.
My mother is abused by the man she is living with.
My parents are in a custody battle, and because they can't talk to each other because my dad has a TPO out against my mother, I have to be the one to do all the communicating.
I am struggling STILL with my addiction.

I find it okay for the most part, the rhythm.

The lyrics are God awful and I would rather listen to instrumental reggaeton than reggaeton with lyrics.

I find the lyrics, in many of them, to be degrading to women. Rather misogynistic. However, the genre has a large following. I think I prefer the socially minded ones, like Calle 13 can be.

Indeed, they can be quite good sometimes.

Also there's a lot of fusion styles surging that take elements of reggaeton and fusing them with other styles, which is cool in my opinion.

I only remain for the aspect of timewasting. That's about it.

But we used to have a better quality of idle timewasting! Of course it is entirely possible that I'm being overly nostalgic, but the loss of Gallade and Thernsy is a painful one.
