If I were president of the United States, I would have ordered sanctions on Russia. But we in Aurentina don't have the power to do anything with sanctions except piss people off. Russia's economy would hardly be hurt by the freezing of their citizens' (non-existent) holdings in Aurentine banks.

Believe me, I'm probably more hawkish than 90-95% of you guys, but Russia's too powerful for us to be taking on alone. We should only sanction to a similar extent as the USA and European Union do. However, as long as I'm still president, we will be aligning ourselves as allies of the West and the legitimate government in the Ukraine.

Agreed, though I am somewhat a hawk kind of Libertarian out of the party. If we are going to sanction them we should target valuable assets.
