Playing the ''Liberal' media'' game, I see.
But seriously, I thought speaking wasn't allowed in the chamber?

Agreed wholeheartedly. The anti-nuke people really tax my patience, wailing on about Fukushima, when they don't even know what happened there (they love to claim it "melted down", when what actually happened was a pressurized steam explosion, essentially a boiler explosion.).

They also love to claim that Chernobyl killed a million people when the actual death toll was four thousand.
If it weren't for the anti nuclear movement, we could be of fossil fuels by now.

It does slow down laws, people become busy bantering stupidity, rather than discussing laws.
At least it's not like real legislatures, where the representatives are busy watching porn, or carving their initials into their desks.
Although NSA knows what our senators do in other tabs\windows...

Nobody claims that Chernobyl killed millions, only that it detrimentally affected millions, despite being in a relatively isolated area. If a catastrophe like that happened on a small island nation (i.e. Aurentina) the effects would be utterly devastating.

People on NSG do claim that.
And the only reason chernobyl even happened is that the idiot Soviet managers decided to run a "safety test" in which the incompetent workers disabled all safety measures and purposely tried to get as close to meltdown as they could. Modern reactors have a negative void coefficient which means that they literally can not melt down.

But don't worry, there is no incompetence or human error in Aurentina. So that couldn't happen here.

We waste time discussing irrelevant things, if you want to waste time listening to political correctness rather than laws, fine.
But I don't, it's ridiculous. But apparently, you want to turn this chamber into a comedy show.

No. Everyone else likes it this way. Stop whining, and stop trying to make the senate more dull.
