Because:-
1. We share the same world and we are both humans.
2. It is also being used by British government to spy on its people, and they are fairly close to us. Plus thats what we know from a brave man.

We are giving honorary citizenship to someone who broke his governemnt contract and commited the biggest leak in us history? How about FUCK NO.

As for great nepal, i am sorry that in a country that is still struggling with forming a basic legal code and already multiple major criminal problems to be dealt with (parade, bombings) that i could not possibly justify wasting time on condemmin something that had absomutly nothig to do with us

This is americas (and britains) internal dispute and problem. We have no right to interfere with such dumb actions. Giving citizenship to a treasonous leaker? I personally applaud him for bravery, but letting him in our country would be a foreign relations disaster with the USA.

I don't care if this is an issue "for the citizens of the world," it's not something we need to concern ourselves with. The prosecution of the informant lies with the US, as does their policy control. We merely agitate the waters of the international community by issuing not only a condemnation, but also honorary citizenship, which is a step waaay too far.

I believe you are mistaken Senator. The United States has been using this PRISM in order to spy against Non-US citizens. Germany for example has been majorly targeted upon. It's sovereignty and citizens privacy has been destroyed by this illegal and imperialistic surveillance program. If Germany and other European nations have been targeted by a nation that is supposedly its ally I strongly suspect that our own nation has been victim to this unprecedented attack on our national integrity. I urge you to reconsider and support this legislation.

There are specific persons targeted by it, and until you find a reliable source that says any random European citizen could have spied upon, you have no basis of support for declaring that Aurentine citizens were subject as well.

OOC: It's also poor RP etiquette to declare someone's else actions to have affected you when their actions were not targeted towards you.

I wouldn't be too worried, Senator - I was speaking of Great Nepal's pattern, which has gotten increasingly contemptuous and disrespectful. We ought to act better than he has, but I've covered that with him.

I oppose, as my critique has gone unexamined.

You weren't particularly forthcoming with it and I don't think any more attempts to extend the debate should be made unless you actually have something constructive to say. In fact, I asked the chamber here whether or not they had any problems with the Transportation Ministry Provision Act and not a word was said. Therefore, I assumed and I am assuming that there is no problems with it and therefore, we should move to voting.

Senator, I wrote and published a critique immediately upon being notified of the bill's existence. I'm not sure what you'd have me do. I've said plenty of constructive things - I even wrote two proposals, before being informed of any informal legislative standards I should keep in mind. They're both in the Coffee Shop, and there's plenty to mine from there. Your TMPA was pretty much fine, although technically the grammar didn't really line up (tense agreement, etc.) and one of your departments was missing the part clarifying that they were in charge of transportation, not the paths in general (water, I think). I could have been wrong in that you intended that department to control the whole waterway (or whatever it was), though. OOC: I don't have much time to propose amendments or make motions. I've asked for help there - not much else I can do at this point unless I find more time than expected.

IC: While my proposals are being worked out, I suggest (and will try to enact if I can) removing the judicial act from the queue for conflicting with JA, removing CMA for being so awful in so many ways. I have a separate proposal for that, the second one at the Coffee Shop, which will need some tweaking in terms of its effects but presents a comprehensive argument which doesn't even get into my political differences with the bill.

The NCBEA also needs the punishment removed, IMHO and in the opinion of other Senators as well, who don't like the authoritarian stink of it, nor the discrimination against people with cognitive differences and temporary/no addresses who may have difficulty returning the NCB surveys in a satisfactory way. In its place, the NCBEA should encourage filling out and returning the survey, as well as establishing a threshold (I suggested 5%) of noncompliance that would trigger policy reviews and suggestions, which the NCB would mostly be empowered to enact, within certain parameters; also, allow the NCB to gather added information in non-invasive ways to make up the gaps if some surveys are not returned. (i.e. count cars while making an effort not to peer inside them.)

That being said, there's a motion to bring it to vote, so go ahead and put your number on that if you insist, and I'll do my best to fight it. I've given my suggestions in many different ways now, though; I'm not sure what else anyone would have me do at this point, but I'm open to suggestions.

Nepal can be a bit coarse at time but there was nothing wrong with the comments in question, senator. You were overreacting.

Senator, I wrote and published a critique immediately upon being notified of the bill's existence.
