The utterly insane dictator wrote:Within the day, 1,500,000 guardsmen of the Bohdian 45th, and the support group from the Bohdian 26th armoured had landed.
Thousands of servitors and indentured slaves swarmed across the desert plains next to the Tallarn encampment, filing hurriedly into rows and columns, in immaculate formation, the result of years of ceaseless drilling. They were to expand the Imperial encampment and set up defensive fortifications.
Armed troops stood ready to ensure that the operation went as quickly as possible, and they were quick to beat those who lagged behind with vicious electrified flails.
Their work began, and the slaves surged forward. Digging trenches into the dusty, solid parched earth was long, difficult backbreaking work, but the slave’s harsh overseers offered them no respite.
Those that failed to dig fast enough were shot. Partly to encourage the others, partly to provide an extra layer of defence as well, as their lifeless bodies were bundled into sacks and set up along with the sandbags that were placed along the trench sides. No resource was to be wasted to ensure the defences were as strong as possible. Not even the slave’s bodies themselves.
Bunkers and pillboxes were hastily erected, and hundreds of heavy weapon turrets were hauled by long trains of chained men, to be set up in emplacements.
Melchett watched the scene of misery and hardship with a quiet sense of satisfaction, as he sipped a glass of wine from the cool comfort of his luxury command outpost on an overlooking hill. With a gesture he summoned his adjutant to his side.
“Y-your will, my most beneficent lord?” the crooked wretch whimpered, seemingly trying to hide from Melchett’s very gaze in the folds of his ragged cloak.
“Pass me the vox,” Melchett demanded, “I need to inform Lord General Farad of our progress.
The adjutant did as he was asked.
“Lord General,” Melchett began, “we are making excellent progress. Our encampment will have been expanded massively by nightfall, and our full force of 1,500,000 men and our armoured support have all arrived.”

It held his power sword, laspistol, and various small things. He fastened his hat to his head, but tilted it side ways. Can't look too nice , he thought. He punched the control panel by the door, and it lowered. It was a short few steps, but if the Orks were watching, Hess had to make a good impression. With reluctance, he jumped from the ships door, to the ground, and spun on his heel, facing the Rok fortress. "Ima herez!" He called out, one hand resting on the hilt of his power sword, the other out to his side.

Segmentia wrote:Aurora
The large scale war being waged on the planet of Aurora had drawn the attention of many people from many organizations. Including Princeps Asilis Lividivus of the Adeptus Mechanicus Collegia Titanica. She was the Princeps of the Imperator Titan Invictus Ultra. She had commanded the Imperator for centuries, her mind having basically mixed in with the Machine Spirit. She could not survive for extended times when not connected to the Titan, and every moment away from the wires, and gel-filled tank she was normally in, resulted in pain. Yet for all of the pain, she was happy. She commanded a god-like war-machine able to lay waste to entire armies, devistate continents, and dominate an entire world.
Aurora was a new world to her, and the other Titans she had under her command. It was a small force, only her-self (She considered her-self to be the Titan), two Reaver Titans, and five Warhound Scout Titans. There were several companies of Skitarii to defend the Titans and act as a limited ground attack force. But she did not count such a small number of 'insects'. When they numbered in the hundreds of thousands and millions, they she would take notice.
But for now, she needed to assist the Imperial forces on this world. She willed the Imperator to take its first steps, moving it off of the transport and on to the soil of Aurora. The other Titans had already exited their transports and were already moving into a formation. Well, it would be best to contact one of the Imperial commanders and offer her assistance. She opened a vox-channel on the command net.
"Imperial commander, this is Princeps Asilis Lividivus. I have arrived on Aurora with a force of Titans. I offer my assistance to your efforts on this world. Respond with your requests." Was all she said. She did not know the names of the Imperial commanders on this world, having been rushed to the planet, she had only read up on the most important information, and the names of individuals generally were not that important.

Al-Harbiyyah wrote:While awaiting the Titan battlegroup arrive to his base, Lord-General Farad then decided to contact the Astartes to know their development when a messenger Guardsman informed him, "My Lord, we intercepted a vox saying that Lambert City is now in the hand of the Astartes."
"Already?" Farad blinked but then he continued, "Very well. I need to contact the Astartes now. Lead me to the Communication Center." and the Guardsman lead his General to the Communication Center.
Inside the Communication Center,
"Any news for now operator?" Farad asks the Operator but so far, they didn't hear any news yet about other factions...especially the Tau. Then he continues, "Give me the Vox, I need to contact the Astartes of the Dark Angels." Which the Operator complies.
He take the Vox and began transmitting, "To Interrogator Chaplain Izraphael, this is Lord-General Farad of the Tallarn. I think it is a good time for us to discuss face to face for our strategies regarding the Auroran Crusade." He said through the Vox, hoping the Astartes replied.

Imperial Fists wrote:It would seem not large an assault on the city of Lambent at first glimpse, but following in file were the disgusting forces of Nurgle. Demon's, war machines built for combat, siege weapons, dreadnaughts, and many, many traitor Death Guard marines. The very loud, very threatening shouts of the Death Guard could now be heard.
"Let this city drown in the pestilence of Papa Nurgle!"
They opened up with a zeal so great with their pestilent weapons, cannons, and explosives. The siege of Lambate City had commenced, and the Chaos Lord had predicted that the forces of Nurgle would have the day. The first wave of cultist slammed against the walls, firing their launchers and plasma weapons that had been sanctioned to them in few numbers, as well as their plasma pistols and swords. They attempted to weaken the defenses of Lambate City.
