Malakh blinked a few times and sat down. 'How do I know it isn't the Metatron talking?' he asked, tears already beginning to fall stream his face.

"I... I don't know, Mal..." James responded, sinking down to the ground. "I just don't know..."

The battle was going badly.
A Demon attacked and Leomaris sent a Water Bubble - right into the edge of the dimension they suddenly appeared in.
He checked his crystal but it wouldn't connect with any others, rendering it useless.
He turned to the person who wielded the most power and who was obviously in control of this dimension and demanded in and indignant tone,
"Who are you?"

Victoria glanced over at mer-folk.

I am Victoria, Great Goddess of Knowledge, and I wouldn't speak in such a tone as that to a deity, especially in her own realm, if I were you.

Turning back towards the crowd, Victoira hovered higher, above the gathered peoples.

Now then, I have brought you all here to escape from the surprise attack on Elfen High in order to regroup and organize a strategy. As per the Archangel's wishes, I have come up with a number of potential plans to ensure our victory, some more effective than others, some more risky than others, and some more convenient than others. To explain them all would take some time, and, while my dimension is sealed from all forms of inter-planar travel without my express permission making us perfectly safe, I have no food or water here. Therefore, time is still of the essence, as you all would probably appreciate not dying of starvation. So, to begin with, I will go over my personal favorite plan and the one I think we should implement. It is a rather simple four step plan, though it would be highly effective.

First, we track down Desmond, wherever he went off to, and bring him back here. We'll need him for step three. Next, all of you would leave and confront Calliel. It would be too difficult to plane shift you all directly to him. Once there, perform a simple exorcism and banish him back to Heaven. If he happens to already be in Heaven, then we can skip this step. However, you'll still need to leave my dimension. Step three, using his time manipulation magic, Desmond will place my dimension in a different time stream, significantly slowing it down and dragging the seconds on as days. Then, I shall begin forming copious amounts of matter, specifically, the super-dense adamantine. Eventually, the sheer gravity of it all would compress it down and form a black hole. Finally, once that is finished, we plane shift the black hole to Heaven. The rest should be rather self-explanatory. Any questions?

"No questions, but i can help with step one Dimensional warping chick. I can track down uh...whoever that guy was you said. I got his scent in here."

He poked his nose.

"I got a sense of smell like a...like a...whatever those funny four legged things are people keep. They taste good with ketchup by the way."

That will not be necessary Lazrian. I can easily find him myself with some simple divination.

Lafma raised his hand and asked,
"When do we leave?"

When we get to step two and you go off to exorcise Calliel.

Alastor/Alan carefully listened to the plan that Victoria had just explained to everyone, wondering what his role would be. He figured that he, along with L'Enfer and his Knights, would go and assault the forces of Heaven as a distraction or at least attack Calliel. He was okay with this role. It was one of the fun ones.

Shyla listened to everything that was going on, quite confused by the sheer improbability of it all. For starters, Calleil, who seemed like a nice enough guy, had apparently attained huge ammounts of power and gone mad. She also wondered how would she be of any help, considering she didn't have any offensive powers or combat experience enough to even take care of herself.

It took another student to point out the obvious. He was holding a composite bow, with a quiver of wooden arrows (modified and filed down to actually be lethal) across his back. "One problem with your plan." His accent was quite Irish. "Most of us are simple students or teachers, and only a few even have any sort of powers. It was only today I discovered I could make wood explode. How are we supposed to handle ourselves against a bastard that can summon demons at will?" There was a murmur of approval from the rest of the crowd.

Laz was apparently deep in thought. That bears repeating. Lazrian was actually thinking.

"Uh, Dimensional warp chick, what am i supposed to do? I mean I'm strong and all, but I'm just a single demon. The only way i can see myself being of any use is if i act as a bodyguard or something for either Short girl or uh...that girl."

He pointed at Shyla.

"Whatever her name is."

I believe that our aquatic friend here has also probably been using his abilities for a few hundred years. I propose that those among us that are more experienced should lead teams, the other members of the teams being less experienced."

"Wouldn't work." James piped up, trying desperately to float over to Malakh. "Calliel would just kill the leaders then move on to the others. We have to attack him en-masse to stand any chance of keeping him occupied long enough for the plan to work, which means everyone needs training."

[Olthar]

Victoria facepalmed once more.

How easily they forget... she thought to herself.

Listen, it doesn't matter because you won't be actually [i]fighting him. You'll just be exorcising him. It'll take a few minutes at most. Just send the expendable people in first as cannon fodder, and it'll all be fine. Once he's back in Heaven, he won't have time to leave because it'll be all over, assuming he even figures out that it's a trap, which he won't. Besides, where will you conduct this "training" of yours, anyways? My dimension is hardly adequate for such a thing, and I'm not going to waste my time and energy making it so when it's not needed. If you go to any other plane, Calliel will hunt you down and kill you, and any plane that he can't get to, neither can you. Now then, does anyone else have any problems?[/i]

"None of us are expendable!" Came from the mass of students and teachers, and continued to be echoed by the rest, including James. "Besides, what if the exorcism doesn't work? Or Calliel manages to send his army at us? We NEED to be able to protect ourselves!"

Victoria just shook her head in disappointment.

We could debate whether or not that is the case for hours, but it doesn't matter anyways as I wasn't talking about you. I was referring to our angelic and demonic friends that Raphael and Alastor have provided for us, the very reinforcements that you, James, wanted to summon before coming here. As for the exorcism, as long as you don't fuck it up, it'll work, and exorcisms aren't too difficult.

Laz let out a mocking giggle.

He stared rather surprised. And let out a wheezing reply.

"Fine...but not because you are trying to choke me. Because i feel like it. Sheesh, some people can't take a joke."

Buddha watched. Quietly. Waiting to see what would come of this.

Within the school, now void of prey for the demons to slaughter, the black rift resurfaced. Demons amassed to witness its power, slowly spreading and reaching out to the ignorant creatures of hell that merely stood there watching. Only when they noticed they couldn't move an inch the demons began to roar in pure anger while others tried to free themselves, staring at the black rift that was slowly giving rise to its creator. Izanagi.

The poor demon couldn't even respond as it lunged out of the rift and cleaved its sword straight through the demon's skull, pushing down his blade until the wicked being was completely separated into two equal halves, its blood spilling out and covering any that stood close enough to feel its agony.

The demons were being massacred, each and every one of them unable to move as this strange entity deprived them of their limbs, bisected their friend and drank their blood as if it was a sports drink. Whatever it was, it wasn't human. Four wings like those of an angel, an armour bathing in residual dark energy and a sword that didn't even appear solid as all, yet clearly seemed capable of cutting straight through the thick skull of a demon. The only part of this thing that didn't have "evil" all over it was the part that was in control. A small, plated piece in the centre of its chest emitted a strange, yet calming light, the light that prevented it from spreading carnage across this realm.

As more and more demons were being slaughtered, Izanagi suddenly feel the urge to pass through those doors when it noticed the chains. Dozens of chains piercing his armour and keeping his freedom restricted to the confounds of this school. It shrieked in anger, turning its head and returning back to the depths of the school, looking for more demon blood to spill...

[Zarkenis Ultima]

L'Enfer got a chill running down his spine when Victoria called his order of Knights expendable, but Alastor merely chuckled. "Hah, oh, yeah. Those are expendable alright!" He said, laughing. L'Enfer looked at him with confusion and fear. If there was anything in hell L'Enfer feared, it was his boss.

Shyla wondered how she would be of any help without any training. After all, she had abilities, and she could probably improve on them, but if they weren't getting any time to train then her abilities would be nearly useless.

James thought for a little while, then looked up at Victoria again. "I've figured out a flaw in your plans." He sent the thought up to her. "We don't even know if Desmond is still alive or not, and all sorts of things can go wrong. We should find some place to keep the weaker students and teachers while we carry out the exorcism, some place that's sheltered and where they can train should the need arise."

[Olthar]

I know for a fact that Desmond is alive. I have been watching Elfen High, and he has just come back there. He's currently in the middle of battling the demons. For your second complaint, I have already stated that the only thing that can go wrong is step two, and the chance of the exorcism failing is only as high as your level of incompetence in performing the exorcism which, I'm estimating, isn't that high, no matter how much you may be proving otherwise with your inane questions. As for the students and teachers, I just assumed you'd take them with you. They can't stay here, and there really are no other safe places. Though, if you wish, you can stick them somewhere on Earth. It is possible that your exorcism will leave Calliel too distracted to hunt them down. I also believe that you're his main target, anyways.
