So let's say I'm a citizen living in Fuktupistan. One hundred years ago, a country called Shittinonia comes along and invades. Seeing the effects this invasion has had on my country's advancement (or lack thereof) over the following century, my rabid patriotism as a Fuktupman compels me to hate Shittlings for being Shittlings. This hate is blind, such that even Fuktupmen who emigrated to Shittinonia during that time are a target of my disdain.

I'm not sure that counts as racism, myself. Where you live doesn't really determine your race, anymore. Clearly I am prejudiced against a certain group of people, equivalent in extremity to racism, but the actual label just doesn't seem to fit.

Now if my hate were confined solely to those of Shittling descent then I could see it. But hating on the country as a whole, and by extension its people, isn't really the same to me.
