Uh, no. Porn is not some kind of shaddy ring where producers kidnap women at an early age and groom them into actresses against their will. It is almost always a consensual production. Now, are there videos and such where consent is not given? Yes and those are of course disgusting and wrong. But that is not the vast majoroty of the pornography industry.

At least in America, it isn't.

Outside of America there's less regulation, so it must be kept in mind, this.

However, the American pornographic industry is, usually, well above ground to be able to stand on its own legal merits, and there's a lot of precedent behind porn being an expression of speech, so it'd be hard to overturn precedent in this instance as the Supreme Court has also ruled on pornography, giving a victory to sex-positive feminist and a defeat to sex-negative feminists in the U.S.

This is mostly about the United States and her own views since, I think, so let me introduce this to the fact that this is a merely American view.

Pornography in the United States has been ruled by the Supreme Court as "free speech", and so despite Dines' efforts, she is likely to fail to have the current body of law overturned against pornography in the United States.

That being said, in other countries where they make highly profitable, and pornography that would otherwise be illegal in the United States, I can see a use for this law. However, due to the nature of the porn industry in the United States, while there needs to be heavier regulation in the industry, it's not a real problem with women being coerced into the industry, at least in America where Dines operates.

I think some people can be and are coerced economically into the industry, which cannot be effectively tackled without tackling the conditions that cause this.
