Firstly, I would advise against threatening violence against real people. While I might be okay with your opener, others might not be and I do believe it is technically a rules violation. I'm not arguing the points you made. While I would challenge you to find a source for all of the not common knowledge claims you made, Gallo has put up all of this information already, and it was particularly surprising. I know all of those are a thing, in fact I use those as a prime example of how patriarchy hurts men, because the issues you brought up come from the same exact viewpoints that were used to keep women down historically.

This by the way covers most state's legal definition of rape, and while it acknowledges that historically it was sex driven, by the early 2000s there were no "sexist" definitions of rape.

1) Further I am a survivor of a similar incident (knife scar on my back to prove it). However, it stems from the logic that women are a gender that needs to be physically protected from the scary world, and that violence (in general) belongs in the men's category. This sort of thought process is patriarchal, because it also applies to protecting women from the nasty world of politics (and was therefore used to deny women's suffrage). It is not so much a sign of "teh nasty wimmenz oppressing muh man-ness" as it is an outdated remnant of Victorian attitudes toward women and the Cult of Domesticity.

2) To address your point about the shelters and higher suicide rates among men, that too comes from a patriarchal line of thinking. Historically men were treated as the primary breadwinners in a family. This meant that it was their problem if they couldn't provide. The notion that it was a man's duty to pull himself up by the bootstraps anytime extenuating circumstances left him without a means to make money led to a lack of public assistance for men including say DV shelters. The notion that a man was somehow a failure if he couldn't be a breadwinner, led to higher suicide rates.

3) As I know several examples of exactly what you are talking about (I know at least three people who's mothers got custodianship of them despite being the far worse parent), I'm not going to argue that that's a thing. The advantages women have in custodianship battles derives from the notion that women are naturally caretakers et homemakers. Ergo, the disadvantage men have in in family court is a result of a traditionalist interpretation of gender norms.

Lastly, you all should seriously consider actually listening to feminists sometimes. Even if 99% of feminists a Third Wave, Sex Negative, TERFs (whom I would argue aren't actually feminist at all), doesn't mean that there are no valid points being raised.

I was using a nonpartisan dictionary definition of sexisum, and politely conceded my point that it is indeed possible to be sexist against men. I originally though that the dictionary definition was not inclusive of that. In short I am recognizing that I made an honest mistake in my definition and am conceding the point like a gentleman.
