I'm also wondering how the rule violations measure up to mentions on other sites. I know the site was mentioned on 4chan's /his/ (History & Humanities) board a few months back. The entire thread was either people wanting to start a region and take the game seriously or people reminiscing about how they used to have a nation. I've always been curious as to how many people saw the thread, didn't post and decided to troll here. Probably wasn't that many as /his/ isn't one of the big boards.

In terms of sheer numbers, this flood is probably comparable to previous ones we've had, though I'd need to go pestering [v] or really digging around the sekrit lair to get stats on the Reddit and Imgur floods to compare against. As for the rulebreaking... eh, seems about on par with the previous floods, too. I'm sure there's some variation depending on the typical audience of whatever site we get linked on; for instance the last time we had a visit from /b/ years and years ago, there was definitely a LOT more rulebreakers in the mix. Same any time we've had Stormfront try and drop in. (Fun fact: Before it was "NS Summer", it was "the annual summer nazi invasion."

Unless you were a part of F & NI or signed onto the pony alliance they didn't notice shit. They only touch on NSG from a thread three years ago. Which is a pity since worse threads have appeared since then.

Yeah even in the MST genre there are better people. Das Sporking is better. Hell MichaelLorei who does pretty such the same type of thing except with more drinking games and a focus on "Horror" does are more entertaining.

In my vain and naive hopes that they would say something remotely funny or insightful, I got... Disappointment. I'm so glad I didn't watch the whole 70 minutes.

Entertainment value is subjective and I get that some people enjoy different kinds of videos, but it's going preeeetty far to label these people as 'content' creators and not ignorant fools looking for gratification from their fellow trolls.

IMHO at least some of the nations here even the ones presented need to be looked deeper than that to get a valid critique.

I think F+ is sort of both tbh. Dramatic is as much content as an actor's interpretation. That's why i actually like parts of this even if i find the criticism written like hacks.
This doesn't mean the commentary is good just that IMO at least shittyness is not enough to disqualify something.
That and the others i brought up at least look a little bit deeper before dismissing/generalizing work(Not so sure about the latter though. He apparently mistook a work for being more serious than it is on the account of the author's other work).
