Well, earlier this year, the first homicide involved a middle-aged woman killing a young family of four at an interchange near the north end of the city. I had a hard time not wanting to take revenge against the family of the woman to make sure that she feels the consequences.

Then several weeks later, there was a school shooting in La Loche, on the northern end of the province. I didn't feel that same rage that I did above.

I never managed to find out what she was printing, I don't ask those kinds of questions. As long as the department she is a work study for and therefore charged it to can afford it (the machine doesn't yell at us - it didn't), then she's golden.

I know it was, but part of me felt wanted her to experience what the relatives of the innocent family that she had killed were experiencing. Eye for an eye, if you will.

But yeah, all that would do would be to cause a feud and a vicious cycle that would never end. Plus, eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

I've never seen anybody else stay in the document center so long besides people like me who actually work in there and therefore have to be there for long periods of time. Most students and staff are in-and-out in a matter of five minutes tops; they either had a short, quick copy job, or they were coming to quickly pick up a package or a print job that we did for them that they requested via email.

Almost as if they got NS' old servers.
