Infections are the big risk. My wife is better informed about the details than I am. We make sure to turn her regularly to avoid skin conditions, and keep both her trach site and her g-tube site clean as well. We've heard horror stories about parents who didn't keep up with that.

Now they are, at least.
Earlier they were tracking towards my neighborhood. Missed us by probably a mile.
