Rebels say you can be a grunt. Government says you can have a desk job and if you prove yourself you could eventually rise to a position of power. Who do you choose?

Use it as the perfect opportunity to start a nationalist/reactionary rebellion to topple the government and bring about something a little more palatable. Though I may sympathies in some aspects and sectors to the left I am an irreconcilable anti-communist and will never accept such a thing. My lack of any love for democracy helps in this regard.
