1. Ukraine isn't a NATO state.

the way I see it, this country ceased to be my country and its economy ceased to be my economy once the mandate was past. Instead the country and its economy are foreign things while there is a mandate and if they need to be destroyed via internal means to remove the mandate so be it.

Regardless, even without America involved, Russia would not engage in a war with the Europeans. France alone is sufficient deterrent. America joined the last two world wars late, it could easily happen again.

A russian victory would need to be swift and decisive, and they wouldn't be able to guarantee it.
