If Johnson actually went on there and took their quiz, he'd probably come out much further down than where they put him.

I think Johnson and I belong pretty close to each other on the vertical axis, but last time I took the quiz, it put me at -5.7 on the libertarian side. So Johnson probably belongs around -5 or -6, and they just didn't put him there because they have a grudge against the Libertarian Party and don't want to admit it's actually libertarian.

I'm going to have to take this quiz now to see what it's gonna do with me.

Both parties believe illegal immigration is a problem.

The only thing that differs is how stupid their ideas are.

One thinks only amnesty works, the other side mass deportation and a huge fucking wall.

The solution is somewhere in the middle. We need border security for sure, but we can't just deport 12 million people.

Don't you see? They're part of the plan to make it seem Clinton isn't in the absolute control that we know she's in. Why she's running for president if she already has this power? Reasons, I assure you.

Since almost no one bothered to read my essay on why Donald Trump will win, I'll post it again, this time shorter.

Hillary Clinton's continued corruption of the democratic process has created a rift between her and Bernie supporters. Many Republicans who voted for Bernie will now vote Johnson or Trump. Millennials are looking towards Stein. This will act as a spoiler in states that rely on young liberals to keep the state blue, such as Florida and Pennsylvania. Ohio, Iowa and North Carolina all suffer from the effects of neoliberal trade deals such as NAFTA, GATT, and TPP. This will empower Trump. And with the continued terror attacks, Trump will appeal to religious fundamentalists, as well as with his VP pick.

My prediction as of now has Trump at about 55-60% chance of winning, while Clinton is at 40-45%.

So you're saying there's a chance :)

The GOP pulls of their win with Trump in november, and then *BAM* off to the camps they go, and Barack is named president for life with Hillary as prime minister Erdogan style.

Nice ;)

The majority of Bernie supporters are behind Clinton. You are treating your personal attitudes as universal, projecting them onto others.

You are falsely attempting to undermine Clinton and encourage low voter turnout in what appears to be an effort to help hand the country to a bullying bigot and possible Russian puppet.

I mean, Jesus, people are so blinded by single-minded hate for Clinton that they're prepared to help sell out our democracy to a foreign despot rather than have her as President?
"Our progress in degeneracy appears to me to be pretty rapid. As a nation, we began by declaring that "all men are created equal." We now practically read it "all men are created equal, except negroes" When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read "all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and Catholics." When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty -- to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy." - President Abraham Lincoln.

Lady Scylla wrote:Personally, I think the laws should be relaxed. Immigrants that can't afford to go through the process should be given a chance with certain requirements. They need to: Pass a criminal background check, be vaccinated, pay taxes, and they must find a job whether through assistance from the unemployment office, or of their own volition. From there, they can wait to apply for full citizenship until they're stable enough to do so, and be allowed to send money back home to their families. If they fail any of these requirements, they will be deported.

I feel doing this will reduce the likelihood of illegal immigrants getting into crime, while giving them a chance for a better life, and will help them become contributors to society.

I am thinking that you just can't let illegal immigrants come in after all that without documentation.

I am all for a retry of something like the Bracero program under different terms, though.

The problem with Stein is that she's unrelentingly leftist. To the point of being idealistic.

She might have a pull on certain states, but I don't think this is something that will spoil the millennial vote, particularly among immigrant millennials.
