I've mixed feelings about this. As much as I hate Erdogan and wish him out of power, I think that we need the relative stability in the region that Turkey provides.

Well Trump deserves to be thrown out off office if elected. As does Clinton. Neither of them represent truly democratic ideals.

Unless, you know, one of them gets elected and than follows the constitution. Just because you don't like someone doesn't mean they're an illegitimate leader. This case is different, because its literally in their comstitution that the military can coup when the government becomes Islamist.

I was scrolling through my games, and realised I only had a couple achievements left to farm on original Bioshock.
Last played the game six years ago.

The first one seems to be of them firing at loyalist police. (I think, could of swore I saw police lights at the area being attacked)

Second, crossfire maybe. A part of me doubts ever side is intentionally shooting at unarmed people. I would wager some loyalist and coup forces got in a scuffle.

It was led by Cemal Gürsel, head of the army. Tbh that guy seemed decent, he actually developed the country after he took over.

On Wikipedia it says that he was forced into retirement and only got involved in the coup after it occurred.
