It will be even more miserable when you're buttoned up in your nomex working in 110 degree weather and you're right next to the fire.

I'm not trying to scare you, I want you to know what you're getting into before it's too late. You will be out on the fire in the most miserable of conditions you can imagine. You will ask yourself why the fuck you're putting yourself through that. But you'll see why once the fires out and you see the relief and bliss on the faces of civilians. You're there to make a difference. To protect life, property, and the environment.
