I'd like to see some sources for that. I'm not saying it wasn't there necessarily, so much as I don't remember it that way at all. I don't remember the first doubts coming in until after the mission was supposedly accomplished, heh.

I don't know if I'm going to be able to track down articles that I read 14 years ago... I'll poke around a little, but can't make any promises.

There's a high chance that if Donald is elected president, all US allies will leave NATO.

Preemption and crimes against peace are different names for the same thing, and that's what I think Hillary deserves to be tried for -- along with a lot of other people in the US political establishment.

War crimes are a different thing, and not applicable to people like Hillary who weren't involved beyond authorizing the war.

To be honest I'd probably have a lot of sympathy for that position myself, I just tend to have less ire for the people being lied to than the people doing the lying.

I'd be more inclined to see it the same way if Americans weren't so quick to condemn people in other countries that got sucked into the service of terrible governments like the Soviet Union or 3rd Reich. I just want the US to live up to its own standards.

Good, maybe then they'd actually start paying for their own national defense and stop freeloading :p

There are ways to push for that without losing a lot of geopolitical power.

I don't think these countries would be going anywhere because that might leave them vulnerable to Russia. With or without the US being willing to intervene, they'd rather have military backing from the rest of the alliance if push came to shove. Donald Trump if elected, would likely only be in for 1 term. So it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Will people please stop using the word dynasty in American politics? This isn't to say Clinton is good, but I mean it's a really lazy argument.

Trump is part of the problem with corruption and money in politics, though.

I think he's pretty cool too, but I'm just saying even a guy who is literally an anti-candidate is a better option than Trump.

Maybe one day we should actually elect him and see if he keeps his promise about the ponies.

I'd want an opt-out clause though because I'm not entirely sure I'm equipped to properly care for a pony,
