IMO Johnson could of picked a worst principle to stick too. In an election where everything counts, he could of least thrown the religious right a bone and defended the freedom of association (e.g. the right of Christian bakers to discriminate against gays, muslims, nazis, whatever.) This would of been great for getting the votes of Mormons and other western Christians while still being consistent with the party platform.

Thoughts?

Would have cost him my vote.

Why?

I am quite surprise actually by this. Also, Detroit News Endorsed Johnson too which was a surprise as well.

Indeed, I believe he has five or six paper endorsements now. More than Trump's zero.

Clinton and Trump: potentially endanger and kill millions of people. Totally okay.

Johnson: potentially endangers himself. Scandalous.

If I can refuse to buy from someone due to their beliefs (i.e. boycotts) then why can I not refuse to sell to someone for the same reasons?

No tread

I never said Trump's wrongdoings were okay and Clinton has apologized for the email server, but I'm not sure how any of the candidates are going to kill millions of people, except for possibly Trump.

For the same reason you have to pay the government to oppress you. Self-ownership is against the law.

*You focus on domestic policy. You say you focus on domestic policy. You say that you would pull out of where ever we are and cut back the military, effectively ending your country's interventionism. All in all, you don't give two shits about foreign policy*

They ask you a question about Aleppo.

*You are a libertarian, with no other libertarians leading anything in the world, you are alone, and you don't particularly like Putin or Hollande.*

So they ask you a question about which foreign leaders you respect.

CNN and MSNBC are getting really ridiculous with these questions.

There's one, the prime minister of Estonia. Focusing on domestic policy is not an excuse for ignorance.

Well, I know where I'm moving to.

Also, why do you need to know the capital of Zimbabwe when you aren't going to do anything with Zimbabwe?

Just to check your level of general knowledge. Any other candidate would be mocked if they couldn't answer or said something silly like Cape Town being the capital of Zimbabwe.

Yeah... they would be. But the presidency shouldn't be a geography class, however cool that might be.

We should expect our presidential candidates to know more than the average citizen.

Someone should tell that to the Donald.

Anyways, I wasn't aware Aleppo the be all end all when it comes to knowledge? If we wanted to test presidents on their knowledge, there are better ways to do it than media ridicule.
