To be fair, a lot of biology classes in US High Schools don't cover this stuff, and the health classes rarely do, and if they do, its usually that right-wing abstinence-only shit, with a heaping dose of fearmongering on the side.
It is so difficult to get high quality fearmongering these days. So much of it is processed, with sugar and fats - but not tasty trans fats, of course, thanks FDA! - and salt, really, it just isn't very good.

Good job assuming I'm against one group of laws because I oppose another group of laws.Vassenor wrote:Nochov wrote:Good for North Carolina. Hopefully after Trump becomes the US president, he'll repeal more of the liberal nonsense laws the US has gotten in the past few years.

This is actually one of the provisions of this bill though, as part of its blanket prohibition on cities and municipalities passing anti-discrimination ordinances that cover more than state law does.

Mm, your legislative system depending so much on "rider" provisions is just another sickening detail in the whole mess.
