Like the last thread, this is basically a poll to see some statistics on the members of the NS(G) community. The last poll took place about a year and a half ago, the link to it is at the top.

To get a discussion going: do you think asexuality is actually a sexual orientation? Because I don't. Not that I'm saying "it doesn't exist", because it certainly does and is a valid identity, but what I mean is: by definition asexuality is the lack of a sexuality.

Feel free to use this thread to discuss anything else related to sexual/gender identity or orientation.

Nah. Don't sweat it, not meant to be a criticism. You've got to group things into broad categories of the survey doesn't work.

I think it's a bit subjective whether you see it as an orientation or a lack of an orientation, and really not that important which way you look at it.

The important part is just acknowledging that it exists and not giving asexuals a hard time about it.

Because they do get a lot of crap from other people. I don't get it, honestly. Not that they are the way they are, but how some people do not seem able to grasp such an easy concept.
