There is no proof whatsoever for Anonymous being anti-semitic, and there are a whole range of people who support Palestine's right to self-determination as a nation, and also the existence of a state of Israel.

Probably just a rumour, although to be honest, I don't know.

At any rate, it's not really a group, so much as a very loose collection of like-minded people that come and go. So, if by some chance, they did have any ex-FBI members (which would be really unlikely considering how both the CIA and FBI would probably have something to say about that), then they might not necessarily be a "full-time hacktivist", so to speak.

This article is stupid and the person who wrote it should feel stupid. You can't compare the modern Anonymous to the Anonymous of Old because Anonymous went mainstream and was adopted into various causes and in turn became very different than what the original Anonymous was.

Really there are two Anonymous these days.

There's modern Anonymous who are online Vigilantes and Hacktivists who use their power for various causes and against various threats against the internet for the greater good.

Then there's Old Anon from the chans, Hackers on Steroids, the internet Hate Machine, the Final Boss of the Internet, etc, etc, that green guy in a suit, who trolled for the sake of trolling and cared of nothing but themselves and who did things simply because they could.

Old Anon mostly faded years ago though it's had a bit of a resurgence due to the rise of certain chan boards.

Guy Fawkes's motives and actions aren't too important given that the inspiration for the Anonymous mask is from V for Vendetta, not the original source material.
