I live in the most heavily polluted area of Europe. I'm rather pissed.
Plus we're not getting snow for Christmas. Nor for New Year. Instead we'll be enjoying a three-day traffic shutdown.

Huh, for some reason I would have thought that Europe's pollution capital would have been in Russia or Romania. I also thought Naples was the most polluted city in Italy. TIL.

Here in a certain region of the US, we're not getting a white Christmas. We aren't even getting a slightly chilly Christmas. We're having highs in the 60s and 70s for the entire week, with highs approaching 80 around Christmas Day. I can't complain about the lack of bitter winds, but it does ruin the mood a little.
I'm also disappointed that so much of NS history is lost to newcomers like me, preserved only in memories. I like looking at the past.

Somewhat similar situation here. This Christmas won't have snow, but it will be somewhat chilly, and I hate cold weather. Today's high was only 63, I can't handle this.

DSL and cable lines end 300 yards away from my housing, and so even though I live JUST outside town, I might as well be at the bottom of a cliff when it comes to internet service.

The Freshman class in the high school I work at is the worst clump of rowdy, uncooperative, and downright rude morons we've had to deal with in all the years I've worked at this school, and it's the district's fault.

One of 'em is completely illiterate. How in the hell does that even happen?!

My astronomy class has no textbook or curricular support so wa-hey I get to wing it! Good thing I know my shit in that area, so I can port chunks of physics over so the kiddos can get some relevant labs thrown in, but when a guy starts up a class and requests a textbook to and associated resources HE DAMN WELL EXPECTS THE DISTRICT TO OBLIGE.

They spent 55k to get a mobile planetarium, but no textbooks. Yay priorities!

Not griping about the planetarium tho. That thing is the ubermax awesome. And its MINE. Nobody gets to 'borrow' it. They want a planetarium show, I get a day off from school cuz that thing comes with one (1) physics/astronomy teacher and assorted student helpers.

Reminds me I gotta E-mail the principals about planetarium season, hopefully the middle school boss will get the hint and kick the fifth grade science teachers in the chin to make 'em take advantage of the guy who can un-fuck the woeful Earth and Space science scores.
