I don't think so, he was critical of communists who were critical of Obama for not being "radical enough," and when on to state that he thought Obama's healthcare reforms were good, and it was unrealistic to expect something more radical from the American political system.

Undoubtably Zizek, bless his meme lord heart, is a flip flopper like that and I'd say is rather wrong overall. However, he encouraged his followers to vote Trump, as he hoped that Trump would be that great awakening for the American public when he fucks everything up by deregulating it to all hell IE Accelerationism.

I can't tell if Bernie's strategy on trying to introduce Socialism (and from there, Communism) to the general American public is good or not. Howev r considering how popular he is amongst the the youth, I'd say there is quite some hope.

Isn't Sanders more of a Scandinavian socialist than a Red?

I mean, he's talking about grassroots revolutions and the need to educate, organize, and mobilize... Plus he's publically praised Eugene Debs.

Whether or not that includes the Democratic Party's reaction can be debated, but he was describing that the general American population would realize that maybe things aren't as great as they really can be and that we shouldn't elect such a conservative jackass as Donald J. Trump to office.

His issue was more with Clinton, and he quoted Trump about saying that seeing Sanders endorse Clinton, is like seeing Occupy Wall Street endorse Fannie Mae. He then said that meant something is seriously wrong with the left in America, and if they lose to Trump, it will force them to reevaluate their focus.

I don't, he's a silly troll, completely out of touch of reality, that even makes some racist comments at times. He's the syndrom of the "left" gone sick by staying its microcosm, forgetting that marxism is _scientific_ socialism, and losing grasp at reality.

In capitalism, you pretty much have a 50/50 chance of being rich or poor. In communism, it's 1/99. What makes people think they have the luck/skill to become the 1% if they can't even succeed in a 50/50 society???
