Ugh. Can you stop referring to women as "females", especially when you don't give the same treatment to men? It's fucking creepy.

I attended school in southern California, even if we were being lazy, we were dripping with sweat out there on that giant blacktop heat reflector they called an athletic field 2/3s of the school year. :P I swear, not even routine bleachings could save my white gym t-shirt from eventually turning a rather unflattering off-white-ranging-to-pale-yellowish-brown.

Lacking access to functioning showers, a lot of girls would resort to excessive perfumes/deodorants. A few of us would at least try to wash our underarms using the sinks in the restroom, or keep cleaning wipes in our lockers for the same purpose. Which probably helped, but not nearly enough. *bleh*

Nobody took showers because... Nobody took showers. I don't know why nobody else did but I didn't because I didn't want to be the only naked person in the changing room being stared at by everyone.

Ooh, high school showers.. I remember those days way back when, mmm yeah.. There were only a few people who were willing to shower, and they definitely needed cleaning, not always due to the activity during sports, but during the showering.

However, all the boring ass straight kids just slathered on Axe by the litre.

They invented this thing called spray-on Axe and anti-sweat deodorant.

After gym period, the halls smell like an Axe factory, you can barely see there's so much of the stuff in the air. It does its job though, no one smells the sweat. At my school, we have gym uniforms so sweat stains aren't as big of an issue. We don't have showers in the changing room, just stalls with doors. Some kids pop in and use a towel to clean themselves up if they don't like sweat, the rest pop in to put on their Axe.

I'm pretty sure that room is more toxic then Lake Karachy

You could have in my junior high but there wasn't much time between the end of PE and class/lunch to let this happen feasibly.

Well, I admit that the kids who refused to take off their boxers in the shower were all muslims... and that is what started this whole decline ;)

I never said that must be the policy. I'm all for voluntary showers. I just don't understand how a bunch of stinky kids can shame the one kid that actually wants to be clean out of showering. It should be the other way around.

Yeah, you try to actively mock the overwhelming majority in front of you (for real, not internet crowds) and see how that works out.

At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

When I took high school PE, we had four minutes at best to run into the locker room and change. Then the bell would ring and we would try out best not to be late to the next class. Quite a few times, the bell rang before the gym teacher released us. In short, we didn't have enough time to take a shower. I would just apply deodorant and wipe off the sweat with a towel. That's all anyone had time for.

You american have your hour of P.E in the morning? It's quite strange. Here, we have them as the last classes of the day, usually from 15:00 to 17:00 or 16:00 to 18:00.

At my school, the day is split into seven periods and a lunch. For example, first period starts at 7:50 AM while 7th period starts at 1:05 PM (13:05). You can have PE in any one of those periods.
