I have. Donald Trump is the poster boy for the GOP. That is insane.

Donald Trump is a very smart man however he needs to keep his mouth shut sometimes. Over-all however, the democratic candidates have nothing on him and only continue Political correctness (though control, 1984 newspeak basicly) and awful economics which they have no experience in what-so-ever.

That'll never happen. As long as their base is largely socially conservative and elderly, it's unlikely there will be a change.

Jeez i guess I was blind to the Liberal doublethink all along.

Global warming IS a hoax. According to Al Gore the ice caps should've been gone in 2012, and the weather still hasn't changed. Allow me to explain what global warming is because you clearly cant even look at a thermometer properly. global Warming is a "Geo-strategic weapon" (Putin has admitted it) that is designed with destroying countries industries in mind, hence driving that nation to low production, less jobs, less companies in other words crippling the industrialized portion of the economy. Have you heard of the phrase 'economic hitmen"? Because that is basicly what the whole global warming farce is. Secondly, if you haven't heard of the 30,000 scientists that sued al gore or the scientists screaming that its a hoax, the EX NASA scientists, and many high key politicans then you need to learn a thing or two about hoaxes. Secondly, I hate bush as well, but the "trickle down theory" IS effective... except all our jobs are from China so the wealth is being trickled down to them rather than us (which sucks :( ). Sadly, war has always been profitable.

M8 don't you think that even if there's a slight chance of impending global annihilation we should not risk it? I mean if we prove to be right it's literally the end of the world. And no scientist are overwhelmingly tell us that global warming is real.

GOP CAN be too religious, the only one who really advocates that is Sarah Palin. Secondly the GOP is all about economic freedom and small government. Dunno who told you otherwise. Don't know about social intolerance as GOP let gays have all rights except marriage. Illegal aliens are hated by the GOP and rightfully so however....

The GOP claims to be small government, yet tries to intrude on people's lives; i.e. being opposed to gay marriage, equality or protections for LGBT people, opposition to abortion, opposition/the party more likely to support preventing people from having contraception through insurance, and so forth.

You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

Well, Reagan had the task of destroying the soviet empire (I assume we can give him a little slack for such an immense task) and as for Bush members of the GOP hate him too. He is a disgrace to GOP. Secondly, I think you need to take a closer look at Democratic speeches if you seriously believe that democrats are for smaller govt

We need to switch over to renewable energies anyhow seeing how we are past peak oil. The shale oil we're drilling right now won't last long and there's bound to be more conflict in the Middle East seeing how our Gulf Arab dictatorships are running out of money to keep their populations in line. Risking the end of the world just to save the hide of corporations (which are already making record profits mind you) is insane

More Americans are always wanting free things, no one is willing to work hard nowadays, so people want more government to come in which in reality is the issue. Speaking of economics that don't work just about EVERY Liberal has a piss poor sense of currency and are just convincved that money is just infinite and debt doesn't matter, as long as they get the fruits of other labor. I haven't ever met a liberal that has taken a business class, and its no surprise to me at all and the current way that America is going, we are commiting economic scuicide. Even other nations like Russia know this and are going to take advantage of that unless we get a GOP candidate in, as they are usually involved in business their whole life.

I'm surprised someone who talks about liberals not taking an economics/business class believes that this garbage sentence isn't pure gibberish.

They brought this to themselves. If the Republican party cared about what persons join its ranks, or if it hadn't pursued a policy of gerrymandering, essentially allowing even the most far-right republican to get elected without even considering appealing to democrat voters(they'd had to be more moderate, at least in some of their policies and rhetoric).
Although I'm no right-winger, I'm saddened to see the party of Eisenhower and Lincoln turning from a respectable liberal-conservative party into a ridiculous political salad of the right-wing, overrun by reactionaries of the worst kind.

I think it is caused by the obvious problems of the two party system that I am sure a lot of people before me mentioned. But one of the biggest is that neither party actually has to do, prove or improve anything to get elected. They only need to attack the other side and wait for a big enough mistake that they can swing in and take power. The GOP just isn't quite sure what to attack just yet.

Well M8 I'm not sure if you know that Texas and Alaska have plenty of oil and the Earth isn't close to running out of recources. If your concerned about oil for humanity we can start by dropping the EPA regulations and start drilling again. Texas and Alaska have enough oil for us to live on for around half a century or a bit over that at current consumption rates in the U.S.

It is certainly not an unlimited supply of oil.

And what "sacrifice" are you talking about?

Didn't business class teach you about a little thing called market failures and how they screw with all of us. Don't you think over polluting the world and devastating our wild life is not viable in the long run and that all our money won't mean shit if the climate does in fact change. I suggest you take a science class seeing how you think you are smarter than the overwhelming majority scientific community. We have documents that prove oil companies knew about global warming long before it was in the public eye

That is a romanticized and telelological view of Reagan's presidency.

He certainly didn't have a "mission" to destroy them, unless you believe the Illuminati exists.

There's no V. I know about Reagan. I also know the history of the Soviet Union. Do you really think Reagan's dick-waving did anything to speed the collapse of the SovUnion?

The SovUnion fell apart because it was a mess internally, not because of fear of Reagan's Space Laser program.
