The newb, too, attempted to flee. He tried to change the title of the OP, desperately eliminating bywords from the text, finally collapsing; showered with the grim realization that it was too late. The bait had been sniffed out.
At last, hark! The door to the thread crashed open, destroyed on its hinges. The newb fell trembling to one knee. "Who are you?!"
The interloper stood framed in the doorway, grim visage sweeping the room, before they finally settled on the OP and fixed it with a terrible smile. The choking fumes of righteous fury wafted into the thread and the male chauvinists fell on their knees before their conquerer.
"I am Chessmistress," she murmured, "Hear me roar."
