Things that would be better is never have separate schools be part of provincial constitutions up here in Canada, and if it couldn't be avoided, try to close residential schools sooner than they did. I mean it's a possibility, but exactly what killed off the Neanderthals is debatable. I've heard climate change from a volcanic eruption as a theory for example. But just simple climate change from the ice age ending seems like something they could adapt to.
