Im not "under the impression" of anything. I am a woman, and I can tell you, when it comes to being in a bathroom with other people,
we do our best to not be digusting and letting farts and other gross sounds out out there for everyone to hear.

Men dont seem to care who hears them. Or for that matter, who sees them if the lock on the door is busted.
I make sure that door stays shut even if I have to hold it shut with my foot.

I dunno what bathroom you have been in, but I have purposefully checked out male bathrooms a few times in my life out of curiosity of what it looks like. the only bathrooms Im aware of that have urnial walls are upperclass fancy office bathrooms.

Most do not have those and so yes, you could see some guy's junk out there freely even if you didnt want to.

We need to keep bathrooms segregated for the sake of modesty. I dont want to go into a bathroom and see three guys with their manjunk wiggling all about while Im waiting for a stall to open. Or hear some gross guy farting like no tomorow just cause he doesnt care who hears.

And aside from our own bathroom having those issues, they themselves have come out of public bathrooms many times to complain to our parents about such conditions. Including coming home from school and explaining such when asked about their day.

As to your first, all of my experiences are evidence to the contrary. Most bathrooms I've been in are very hygienic, and those that weren't were co-ed houses/apartments

I have no problems with sharing a bathroom as long as the person isnt going to be gross and disgusting about it. If there are other people in the bathroom with you, you at least try to be polite and not treat it like its your own bathroom at home. If you need to make bodily noises, you wait untill people leave or you do it quietly. Its possible, I know.

I dont know what bathrooms you have been in, but when there is nothing worth while to actually grab your attention, its quite easy for the eyes to wander untill they latch onto something remotely interesting. Seeing as I am not one of those ladies that goes to strip clubs to see guys whipping it out, excuse me for finding some guy's junk being whipped out a bit more eye catching than an unpainted wall. Even if I am disgusted by it.

As for the urnials, the only part of that, that is true is the wall mounted part. The rest of it, I can assure you from personal experience, is false. Urinals are narrow flat things mounted directly to the wall. Unless the guy is crouched over the dang thing or there is a privacy screen, there is plenty of room between him and the urnial for anyone to see.

This is so completely opposite my experience, and I have objective experience on both sides.

See, a lot of years ago, I used to work at mcdonalds and we were very finicky about our bathrooms. Mens bathrooms were cleaned once a shift during off season (roughly once every 8 hours), twice a shift during the tourism season (roughly once every four hours). It also sometimes got spot cleaned if there was a mess.

In comparison, women's bathrooms were cleaned twice a shift during the off season, and every two hours during tourism season. It also frequently got spot-cleaned, as certain women hover without knowing how to hover. Seriously. It was bad.

This was because the women's bathroom got a lot dirtier a lot faster than men's.

Now, that is one experiment at one location, but I talk to people, and I find it a common experience that women's bathrooms are either cleaned more often or at the exact same rate - almost never at a lower rate.
