Golden Gate Bridge has been ranked as the 5th most beloved landmark in an "America's Favorite Architecture" ranking.

It opened in 2008 at a cost of $30 million. It has four lanes, two each way. Today, only one lane in each direction is opened since they say the bridge could collapse. Seems in 2009 they found some design flaws but today there is no money really to properly fix these flaws. Around 22.000 autos a day cross this bridge.

Your bridge is a completely different type of bridge; a cable stayed bridge. Golden Gate is a suspension bridge. Personally I find cable stayed bridges to be more futuristic in appearance while suspension bridges are more graceful.

Could you explain the difference. In the end, I would think with both types of designs everything depends on the cables holding power.

Yes, there are bigger and more impressive bridges now. However, when it was built in the '30s, it was a masterpiece of engineering and synced well with art deco. It still holds a legacy as a historic San Fran landmark. I mean, is the Saint Louis Arch overrated? The Seattle Space Needle? The Nashville Batman Tower?

Wow.
So, let me see if I've got this straight. In order to counter what you perceive as an over appreciation of a San Francisco landmark you want to have an announcement and produce a series of ads that essentially say, "The Golden Gate bridge isn't that great people" and then...regulate people's appreciation of it? Like, "Whereas the Golden Gate Bridge is...um...overrated (whatever that means) it is established that from hence forth tourists shall not take pictures of the bridge and its image shall not be used in conjunction with images of San Francisco and effectively immediately Vista Point shall be closed, the turn outs on Conzelman Rd shall be closed and all parts of the Marin Headlands facing the bridge be closed to tourist traffic. All photographs at Fort Point must only include the fort itself and have any images of the bridge be consequential or removed from the photo. That will show that stupid bridge."
And that will stop an over-reaction to the Golden Gate Bridge? Have I got that right?

No.
You are jumping around and making assumptions. Read EXACTLY what I wrote.

Ah, there's the sticky wicket. "On" not "and"...so instead we can keep Vista Point and the Marin Headlands open and we don't have to do the PSAs telling people to not appreciate the bridge anymore.
But the rest of it remains. Yeah, that makes it all better...
