Might it have something to do with the fact that blacks are more likely to commit crimes? It's only logical that if a group statistically commits more crimes per capita than any other, then it's fair to profile every now and then.

Well, ignoring the fact that racial profiling is against the 14th Amendment, I don't see how profiling would be "fair," especially considering it doesn't work. In fact, blacks who are profiled are much less likely to be found in the poses soon of weapons, drugs, or other types of contraband.

That's circular reasoning. There are many reasons why one would refuse to cooperate with the police. People become upset when they're discriminated againsy. And that's going to apply to the police to a greater degree because their job is to protect individuals within the confines of the law. And, given that racial profiling is against the 14th Amendment, if a group of individuals within a community experiences profiling, they're going to get upset. And that causes them to not be cooperative. So excuse me if I don't find, "Why aren't you cooperating? I'm just violating your rights! Get over it and cooperate!" particularly compelling as an argument.

In an attempt to regain the focus of this thread, I bring up an old post of mine.

They feel entitled and when they don't get every single thing they want in the real world they act out. That's why they get convicted they act like criminals. Those wrongfully convinced have committed other crimes or were going to. They should stay in jail until they abandon thug culture. Only 2% of rapes are false so most people who get accused these days are in fact guilty.

People shouldn't be getting sent to jail because you dislike their subculture or you think they would have committed a crime eventually.

Jail is supposed to be for people who have already committed a crime.
