Who doesn't?
Though, even if it were, the robot still would've been smashed, because assholes still vandalize property here in the South.

No one cares about the robot, its the principle of the thing.
Here was an experiment. Here was someone else's property, and for no other reason than they could a few douche bags smashed it, now we all know there are douche bags in Germany, and Douche bags in Canada. But this same experiment was completed in both those countries.
While in the US the thing left MA and only made it to PA before it got smashed.
Do you understand it didnt make it one quarter of the way before it got smashed?
Doesnt matter if it was a toaster with a note glued to it... its the principle.

It was probably just some guys just waiting for it to come around Philly and smash it. That doesn't mean "oh murica worst country ever blah, blah, blah" just a coincidence that it happened in the US.

I think it was implying that the robot (given human qualities for the social experiment), had been destroyed without provoking any such behavior on it's part.
A car, however, is not meant to be personified and does not really have any relation to the topic at hand.

Do you realize how computerized cars are these days?

I don't. It's because people attach meaning to isolated incidents that don't actually matter. And also because people like to generalize and stereotype.Scyobayrynn wrote:Only in America is the populace too douchey to not smash something just for the sake of smashing it.
Oh yea. Totally. This conclusion can totally be reached because one robot got smashed.
