Too complicated for me. I'll just have to wait, I guess.

So is there anyone here who doesn't care that much, as they have no interest in Windows?

Probably some, but they're not posting in a Windows thread, since they don't care about it ;)

I had reserved it, but the item for that suddenly disappeared. I've also had an error message for my updater appear, though I've sorted that out. Anyway, since I intend to wait and give some time to make sure there are no problems, I'm not worried.

Indeed. In my experience, anybody who is afraid of measures to stop child molesters is usually themselves an unrepentant kiddie diddler. Zeonic States, of course, being prime example.

That makes sense, though I assumed there would be some discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of Windows 10 compared to some other systems here, and whether they are enough to make you switch to it or away from it.

No, there technically was not a Windows 7 or 8 or 8.1 either.... both of those versions were actually 6.x (along with Vista). In fact before MS made a version change, 10 was version 6.4, but the set it's version to match its name. 8.1 as 6.3, 8 was 6.2, 7 was 6.1 and Vista was 6.0.

Ohh I see.

PhotoDNA is only for fighting child abuse images, but keylogging did exist in the technical preview only – technical previews were not supposed to be used in production or for anything sensitive.

There's probably (or will be) a way to run Windows Movie Maker 2.6 in Windows 10 using an emulator of some sorts. I was never a fan of WMM anyway (or the Live version, at least).

You just have to reinstall WMM 2.6 in Windows 10.

I have it myself and it's working like it's supposed to.

Is that such a bad thing?

I thought it was a built in program for Windows 10, not for online servers. My bad.

I still have reasons to be afraid, considering Microsoft is still closed source, and I wouldn't doubt any back doors. I'm still a hypocrite for using Windows though, since I really, really, can't turn down my games.

When you try to open the notification/action center it doesn't always open up to the right side of your screen.

That's a bug because I used to have it working before. Maybe restarting the thing would work.
