Such a girl deserves such a punishment if she truly thinks she can just pilfer and packrat food away from her hard working, generous parents without any kind of repurcussions.

Children nowadays are so unthankful for what they've been given, and all they seem to do is take more and more from their over-taxed parents.

I was looking at this, swearing it was an onion article.
Then BAM....NOPE, it is just a normal day in South Carolina.
Seriously, if she got into this level of trouble for a freaking pop tart (and I have eaten pop tarts, the last one was like 13 years ago), imagine if she was smoking, getting drugs, or pregnant. What kind of punishment would she get then? Dunking stool or burned to death?
Thank goodness she is with child protective services, and please please please get these parents some effective birth control.
I hope she ends up with the grandparents, but then again they would have had to learn this punishment from somewhere, so...
I just wish the best of luck for this girl.
