Do you have a source?
If this is just a word of mouth, I doubt the rumor is true. Most people know Trudeau is incapable of becoming a PM.

What... a source? It's plastered all over the CBC.
Source.

What I'm seeing is that the liberal and con parties are neck and neck, if not on of them in a slightly bigger lead. I don't know why this is the case though.

Liberals wheeled in some capital into the CEO of CBC. No doubt about it.

It's Nanos polls they are going off of, I believe, so you know that out of 1200 people they randomly call about 34% of them are Liberal supporters.

Alternatively, they could have called in people of about 34% of 1200 people who are Liberals, and called the rest randomly. :p

They are inaccurate as hell though, because they don't keep up with swing voters every week and they call country wide, not by riding.

What's an accurate way to predict votes at this stage of the game? Is there a link for that?

There is no accurate way to predict the vote in the Canadian elections. The best way would be to do the Nanos poll standardization with 1200 random calls over three days, but across a riding and check back on the riding every two weeks, for every riding. It would be expensive as hell, but it would at least be semi-accurate.

Well, I'm just going to have faith in the NS poll and say Conservatives are likely to win, a fact that matches my interests as well. :)

I hope that if they do not win the election, the winning party has a minority, so that the Conservatives can outright oppose them in their implementations of unethical practices, such as Marijuana legalization, legalization of civil unions, if not same-sex marriages, and removal of senior pension.

Same-sex marriage is legal in Canada.

In all of Canada? I thought people were allowed to have homosexual relationships, but not marriages.

Since July 20th, 2005.

Note that this was passed before Harper came to power and did not do much to change it, except you know, bring it to Parliament and lose by 175 to 123.

Wait. I thought the Conservatives were against gay marriage. Which party actually opposes it?
