Why would you only vote for Biden? I don't really understand how someone would hold such a position.

That said Biden fills no niche. Clinton has the moderates and identity politics, while Sanders has the progressive wing.

People who like Biden seem to be the type of people who agree with Clinton policy wise but hate her as a person.

I'm not aware of anyone who supports Clinton as an individual.

If you combined the numbers of O'Malley, Webb, and Chafee, they'd equal about half of Sanders' support, and he's not even in first place. None of them are bringing anything particularly interesting or novel to the table.

I feel bad for the GOP candidates, as Donald has sucked up all of the attention. Even Bush is polling in single digits now. However, once again, none of them were bringing anything to the table in terms of policy, vision, or personality that hadn't already been covered in 2008 by that group.

It's pretty bad Bush has even gotten this far, mostly due to the funding of millionaires. While comparatively moderate he just can't control his mouth, and says stupid shit constantly.

Trump says it in a way that is hilarious, or polarizing. Bush says something stupid no one really agrees with, then tries to apologize, in the meantime pissing off the people who supported him. Trump is unapologetic about it.

I honestly am probably just extremely biased towards Biden and can't imagine voting for anyone else. I'm an odd voter though I was for Paul last cycle.

i find Biden very appealing too. I wish him Godspeed with his grieving process. I think he feels the call to run, but needs more time to heal himself. He is wise and would be an excellent candidate to run against anyone in the GOP field. I originally supported him in 2007 when he announced, but was thrilled to see him become Veep. He would take some votes away from Bernie, but I feel he would hurt HRC the most and deny her the prize. He is the most experienced person out there right now and no one can question either his honesty nor his integrity. We'll see what he will decide Octoberish, I think.

Either Trump is going to lose the General election to literally any Democratic nominee with a pulse or he's going to split the GOP base and hand the presidency to the Democrats. I can't forsee him doing well in a general election due to him being portrayed as a sort of clown by the mass media, hardly anyone takes him seriously. And those that do won't end up being large enough to hurt the Democrats chances of winning, only separate the GOP with the more conservative members for that election.

At least, that's how I see that ending up.

Well, I'd start with his idea that we're going to be able to figure out some way of rounding up 11 million people here illegally and ship them across the border without numerous violations of the Constitution and a drain on the treasury that would make Iraq look cost-effective. The nuclear weapon comment was hyperbole, a rhetorical device commonly used to express a point in a humorous manner. My apologies. I already stated that the nuclear weapons comment was hyperbole, a rhetorical device used to make a point, not meant to be taken seriously. I thought that this was obvious from the context. I was wrong. As it's something that you are unable to detect, I will refrain from using it in the future. The same goes for "250 feet". Again, I thought that you would be able to detect exaggeration for the sake of effect, and this was obviously unfair of me. It was a reference to a joke regarding Donald Trump, a fisherman, and an immigrant. I apologize for both, and will not attempt to use humor or exaggeration in order to drive home a point with you again.

There isn't a single current poll that shows him losing in the general. There's one where he's in a statistical tie with one GOP candidate, but that's it. Everything else shows him winning against the major candidates.
