You're right, but the Reaper IS going to be accurate as well, its munitions are guided. Therefore, I can more accurately and precisely take out the targets that the invasion force will need destroyed, than the unguided munitions of the day.

In order to be accurate, you need to hit the right point regularly. How will you do these when the Japanese are hidden?

Since I'm from the future, I'll be able to use history to tell me where to strike. Pillbox/trench/tank/tunnel locations, ambush points, areas of heavy combat/mass charges, etc should be noted in the history books.

Yeah sorry, should have clarified. Didn't mean everyone did it, just like in every army you have your bad apples. And I am NOT excusing what the Germans did to vast amounts of the Russian people in Operation Barbarossa, it was wrong. What I am saying is that eye for eye tactics when it comes to civilians is not excusable, especially rape. You are also right when it comes to front line troops, in a lot of cases in both armies (from what i remember) most of the cruelty came from second rate gun fodder soldiers and occupation troops, except for SS soldiers. Also it should be pointed out that Soviet secret police during the invasion executed people and did a couple other nasty things while pulling out of places such as Ukraine to the local inhabitants, but yet again the Germans did just as many if not more. I am also not assuming that buddy there is a bad person or anything, what i was trying to say, and it came out wrong, was that in war even the "good guys" do pretty shitty things and it's not a glorious affair.

The poor shod would break down after his very first kill, I think. All can be uppity and obnoxious and claim to be "warriors" and whatnot, but when they land them in a foreign land to kill real persons that can also kill them back, their nerves don't handle it well most of the time.
