If you do not know Chuck E. Cheese is a truly brilliant restaurant concept combining arcade games, great food, animatronics and costumed performers. The chain is popular across Canada and the USA as well as various international locations. As I have recently discovered not everybody likes it however. Some criticize the quality of the games and especially the food. I find such views to be unfounded. The main legitimate gripe people have is the "Circle of Lights" stage that has no animatronic. Thankfully most locations do not have this stage but more do since currently all new CEC locations are getting this stage. Thankfully for me mine has a Studio C. If you've got Circle of Lights problems I feel bad for you comrade. I've got 99 problems but a Circle of Lights ain't one.

So, NSG should more people visit Chuck E. Cheese? Do you think it deserves the negative reputation some people give it? Should the government encourage more people to visit Chuck E. Cheese? My opinion is that Chuck E. Cheese is a great place to eat and have fun. All the bad things people say about it are not true and are simply the result of a negative attitude.

Um... no. Having the government encourage one business and discourage others would only cause jobs to be exported with businesses leaving to other countries. Exporting Jobs is not what we need right now... well, neither is Hydraulic Fracturing (AKA: Fracking)...

That said, when I was young, there was this place called the "Fun Factory," located in an industrial area which was sorta like that chain you takl about, except they did not have animatronics, they did not serve pizza (I think they had hot dogs and burgers, and some other foods like fries), it was quite larger (like a couple floors tall, mainly to accommodate that play structure which had tunnels, ball-pits, and even slides, bridges and yeah. There was even some rooms for parties, and on the second floor accessible by stairs, there is a laser-tag room.

I think the Fun Factory is still around, but I won't go there unless if my cousins go there and I have to come along with them.

If it's got laser tag, it is objectively better than CEC.

That said, except for the laser tag and lack of pizza, it sounds exactly like what I remember CEC to be.

Really anyone who's not within the target demographic wouldn't say such a place is a "great place to eat and have fun" when they could probably find the same thing at a night club or entertainment venue. CEC is set up to be enticing to young children and thus isn't made to be appealing to everyone. While they could benefit from expanding and making it an all-ages facility, the long history of CEC being a place for young kids would probably overshadow it. That's why I find it very hard for someone outside of CEC's target demographic to still say it's 'fun' without some sort of motive be it monetary gain or what have you.

You could say the same thing about Lego but tons of teenagers and adults collect Lego.
