No I believe that regards of whatever color you may be, whatever gender you are, wherever you come from, whatever gender you happen to favor and so forth; there is a moniker that science classifies every person on the planet as. What is this label they give us? Oh correct, human being, the human race. I hope that sounds familiar.
Now for those of you who may be inclined to find a form of "Holy" writing as a solid work of non-fiction, when you see something like "Homosexual's are an abomination", before you preach this yourself. Stop and think, even with what this book I believe says, besides personal preference what makes a Homosexual different than me? Are they another species? No. Do they come from another planet? No. Then ask yourself, or if your really Religious ask "God", and say "Then what oh Almighty Father, makes them any different from me?" And if you get an answer you could either be crazy or have somehow destroyed the fabric of reality.
We as humans strive to give ourselves individuality and uniqueness which in turn divides us. What we all must remember is that we may be different and be our own person, but also that we are all just the same in how we were built (I'm talking genetics and being a human being here not about any physical characteristics) and we are all the same species. Uniqueness can breed hatred when one strives to believe themselves more unique than another, whereas if everybody were to say recognize that we are all human, we are all the same yet what we do to with ourselves on the road of life is what makes us unique, if we just stopped hating people because they look different or have different preferences, imagine what we could do as a species.
When it comes down to it, yes there should be LGBT rights but they should not have to be specified separately from the rights of others. I mean look at the United States, where in their Constitution does it say you can only be married if you are a male-female couple. No one group should have to have their rights and freedoms separately identified, no matter where you are. In America for example; they say Freedom and Justice for all, then shouldn't every citizen be covered with one law instead of groups needing to have their freedoms granted a decade later with a special law.
Hands up anyone who agrees with this though process or at least followed the whole way through

Worth noting that (AFAIK) there is no law enforcing gender segregation in toilets in the UK, just social convention, so calling the police would have been entirely pointless even if that girl had been a seven foot bodybuilder with a Gandalf beard. And since denying service without good reason would be a breach of the Equality Act, the only possible legal consequence would be McDonalds getting sued. I would have stayed put and insisted that they call the police.

What I would like to say is just relax, and if you don’t like what somebody’s doing, pray for them, and if you’re feeling like somebody is doing something wrong against you, can you just for a second get over it?”

"Get over it" was directed at the people who are trying to discriminate against LGBT people. The Advocate got it wrong.
