A friend (Who still has a nation here) advised me to get a nation.I did, I played around a little with it, and when I grasped the concept after about one month, I created this one.Had a lot of puppets, but thinking of doing it again.I only discovered the forums pretty late, I roleplay on the RMB most of the time.

So you may be asking "what are we suppose to discuss about". Well, I guess why you joined is a good start.

I joined because I wanted to find a nation sim game that wasn't too hard. A thing I didn't have to buy, something that was fun. That's why I joined NS. Fixed

A lot of those 144,326 are still puppets. I have 2 nations currently active, and some people have more.

Although not as high at the moment, me and my brother once (in the last couple of years) had a combined total of 60+ active nations. And I'm fairly sure people have more than that by themselves.

I had the Mac version of Civ 4 on CD-Rom. I switched to a computer running Windows and it wouldn't work so I went looking for something to do instead.

Exactly, some people (me and my brother included) just make nations for the sake of making them, as opposed to making them for specific purposes (my last three made puppets all had reasons to exist).

I made some just for the sake of making them when I first joined, but the two I am still using are very much designed for use on the forums.

I joined up because I'm a huge fan of civilization (own all the games in a fancy boxed set), but I wanted to do something with a little more creative freedom. Nationstates seemed like the place to do it, and now bam, I'm here. I have a lot of puppets, but I really only make them for story purposes.

I never actually found NationStates until 2011, when I was 16. However, I had my own made up country long before then.

I actually started the country Zitru when I was about 11, and I claimed my house as the borders of the country and viewed my neighbors as bordering countries. As a matter of fact, I got so involved with Zitru that I designed a flag, drew out a map for it, thought up city names and even began to develop a language for the country. A few weeks in, some of my friends were wondering what all these drawings and writings were about, and so I introduced them to Zitru which, in turn, persuaded them to start their own countries, making things much more fun.

Five years later, I was sitting at my desk looking for something when I came across a torn out sheet of paper containing information about something titled Zitru, and I immediately recognized it as that country I had when I was a kid. I thought to myself, "I wonder if there's a way you can create your own country on the internet..." And so, I found NationStates, and I'm glad I did to this day.

I was trying to get some other app but when I opened my play store I saw an app called nation states I was like what's that read it than googled it was like sweet took a look around the forum thought I'd be fun to join chat to some people about politics and shit and bam here I am.
