From what I read you either oppose gay marriage or expect religion to be the only part of marriage that matters.
That is a crutch to people who want to get married.
Why should people who have no religion be denied a service that is more of some sort of tax benefit than spiritual one because they don't bother believe a certain set of ideals?

I also have no clue if people actually get better tax burdens and what not from being married, my parents just told me they did once and I couldn't find anything on it.
So if thats a thing or not someone correct me.

Edit: I expect some sort of "Because it's made for marriage" or something.
