It'd be a lot easier for us. African hair is, well, African hair. But depriving a princess of her locks? Utter villainy.

Yeah, it's okay if you keep your hair short, but it must take a damn long time to grow long hair. Not to mention the maintenance.

I had the longest, prettiest wavy locks until the damn communion stole them away from me. Give them back, Catholicism!

What does Catholicism have against pretty hair? Being a Nun must be tough. All that built up repression.

My longer hair days are long gone.

Now it's just hoping that my hair stays, but growing it long is a near impossibility. The speed with which it grows has also decreased significantly.

What does that have to do with it?

Sure, I get genetics, hence why I ask. My maternal grandfather roughly contributed 25% of my genetic(looking purely at DNA here) makeup. And 50% chance to have given me my X-chromosome. Chances are that the other 3 grandparents are (also) of major influence.

It's just a fairly reliable rule of thumb we use back home. An old wive's tale really, but actually based on a trend.

Well, like I said, 50% chance for my X-chromosome.

But I'm scientificially inclined, so I'm interested into studies that verify/disqualify this.

Anyway, lunch :D

I unfortunately seem to have broken the matrilineal family trend of the parish priest having words with us about our eternal souls.

Wales? Don't you call it a 'second breakfast'? I might be confusing you with Hobbits, though...
The name's James. James Usari. Well, my name is not actually James Usari, so don't bother actually looking it up, but it'll do for now.
