anti-irish racism (among others) used to be incredibly common and is now virtually gone (in the u.s. at least)

Some transgender people do hold grudges against cis people but at a more minuscule amount, though a an amount still; however the bigger picture is that so long as one thing is the majority, there will always be a phobia, to which I disagree with.

I actually don't shave my arms. I don't think I have a whole lot more arm hair than my mother (although it is darker -- something that, I believe, may change with HRT), so I don't tend to worry about it.

And now, being more curious, how meticulous are you? How long do you spend on that area?

Face: 5 to 20 minutes, depending on how much time I have and how long it's been since I last shaved. Like, if I don't have any time constraints and the hair's pretty visible, I'll spend more time trying to make it all disappear; but if I'm getting ready in the morning and I shaved in the shower the night before (which is what I usually do), I might just wet the razor and go over the more problematic parts once or twice.
Armpits: A minute or two max.
Chest: A minute or two max.
Legs: Depends on how long it's been since my last shave, but since I started doing it regularly, 10-20 minutes.
Nether regions: 2-5 minutes, depending on how meticulous I want to be.

Appreciate all of the answers! I was wondering whether I fit the average frequency when shaving legs and it looks like I'm right there with everyone else at once or twice a week. And wow to everyone who shaves parts of themselves daily. That must be a seriously annoying amount of work. And now, being more curious, how meticulous are you? How long do you spend on that area?

I think I go 3 - 5 days for my own more commonly shaven places and it take me about 10 - 15 minutes to shave nether regions (dull razor during shower), 30 - 45 minutes to shave legs (sharp razor in bathtub with occasion breaks in shaving to spray myself off with shower) and 30 - 45 minutes on my face, too (electric razor first, cheap and sharp razor follow-up). I can get ridiculously meticulous about my face. Kind of annoying, my face is. I've been tempted to shave arms, pits and my chest but by god, I already spend a ridiculous amount of time shaving. I honestly don't know what to do about it all, I'd like it all to be gone but it's sooooo muuuuch woooork.

The level of precision is about 5 minutes for the arms by electric and legs take 15 as I have to contort to reach some areas. I go after extreme precision of shearing the hairs. Face is fairly quick... around 5 to 10. Nether regions, a minute or two as I just remove the dense hair above the nether regions. Chest? Fairly quick.

So I have a question...I shaved in an "alternative" place to try and better understand at least one aspect of being trans (even if it's extremely small, I've done other stuff like asking my parents what they'd do if I was trans). Well anyway it now stings...any suggestions on getting that to stop?

I used to shave (everywhere appropriate to shave) at least twice a week, and face daily. Ever since I moved back down here, I've kept up the face shaving, but only shaved my chest every week, and certain personal places monthly.

Face: Every day, usually. I take a break to let my skin recover on days when I don't have to deal with people and can just stay indoors, though (i.e. one or two days on the weekend, sick days, days off).
Armpits: Maybe once or twice a week.
Chest: Every two or three days, usually.
Legs: Every few days to once a week.
Nether regions: Every few days.

This would be my ideal schedule. Except, I'd also have to add my arms (especially since my upper arms look like I've got a thin forest of pubes growing out of them).
