I am interested in learning how to use Magic.

Some Wiccans know how to use Magic right?

My girlfriend's Wiccan, though she is kinda slow to open up on it. I do know that she has healing powers that've been passed down on her mother's side.

This is singularly brilliant.

I was interested in Wicca several years ago. I think I was around 17-18 yo. Read one or two books, but nothing came of it. Some acquaintances of mine are Wicca and are nice people. I have nothing negative to say about their philosophy/religious way of life.

Wicca is certainly interesting. I don't adhere to it, but I respect those who do. It's as simple as that, really.

At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

I honestly wonder how many Wiccans feel that they have good reason to believe that Wicca is definitely true, vs how many are more choosing what they would prefer to believe.

But in any case, the vast majority of Wiccans don't evangelize so I don't see any reason to rub my skepticism in your faces, so long as your children don't start dying because you relied on healing spells rather than medicine that works.

A lot of sects of Wicca revolve around magic, it's fairly common knowledge.

Not many Wiccans where I live, unfortunately. Apparently, some Wiccans are very good at magic, but you never know if their "magic" is no more than the paltry tricks of your average magician.

Wicca is an interesting faith to study, but I am not a follower myself. My friend and her sister are, though.

It's likely. I've never met their parents. My friends themselves are pretty cool.

Now, this may sound ignorant, so I apologize beforehand if it does, but doesn't Wicca revolve around magic?
