Just got two buckets of Christmas cookies. One bucket is white chocolate and cranberry flavor, the other is chocolate and apricot.

Well, it's a small bucket. Probably what you would call a tub, which is about the same size as the average tub of ice cream in the US. They're delicious though.

I just had someone in the Cuba thread being apologetic about American actions in the Cold War and pretending my parents were illegal immigrants escaping their country when my dad during the 70s and 80s was fucking around all over between El Salvador and the United States during those days.

Also, calling me racist because I don't see as surprising the Haitian genocide that happened when it was under French rule when he himself has to learn about not being racist and condescending himself.

Edit: I won't pretend to be apologetic. The United States did what it did, even if erroneously, to protect its interests. I'm just aware that America isn't some paragon of virtue, even if I love this country and see it as home.

Uh, yea. I guess you don't know yet :p

I cut my finger about a month ago with a circular saw (one of those small portable saws people use to make cuts on the fly nowadays). I was with my dad cutting wood and the damn saw knocked back and got me. It thankfully didn't cut off the finger, but still I had to get stitches. I'm one week now without stitches and doing exercises to not let the scar grow big and lock my finger.

Holy FUCK, dude, OW! :shock:

On the plus side, if the scar tissue still becomes an issue, they can probably use a surgical procedure to clean most of that out. I've had family members with scar tissue problems in joints (ankle rather than the hand, but still) that they were able to fix that way.
