Mock executions are wonderful, aren't they?
If I didn't know better, I'd think the US was becoming some sort of oppressive and secretive pseudo-democracy. But we have freedom, so there's no way that's happening.

As we speak, dozens of people are tortured in China, and noone cares about that.

Except that the CIA is disputing the report. So they really probably aren't going to learn jack shit.

Senate Intelligence Committee wrote:#15: The CIA did not conduct a comprehensive or accurate accounting of the number of
individuals it detained, and held individuals who did not meet the legal standard for
detention. The CIA's claims about the number of detainees held and subjected to its
enhanced Interrogation techniques were inaccurate.

Actually, the Senate forced the CIA to admit:Senate Intelligence Committee wrote:#15: The CIA did not conduct a comprehensive or accurate accounting of the number of

Which is to say, they arrested and tortured innocent people.S-teuton-S wrote:My only disagreement with the CIA is that they did not go far enough in their methods. Had they been more harsh in their methods, they may have gotten better results.
The Senate also forced them to admit that that's bullshit.
