Well 9/11 was the attack on thousands of people who lost their lives, and was an attack on a whole nation basically . Which started a war. Which led to the deaths of many others.

In all honesty, this is more than likely an inside job. Not being Truther about it, but the fandom does tend to attract unstable personalities and, combined with the petty jealousies and infighting that occurs in any clique, it's inevitable that something like this would happen.

What do I mean? Something like this:

1. People meet at furry con
2. People 'meet' after furry con
3. People 'cheat' after furry con
4. Person vows vengeance upon furry con
5. Psychotic in a fursuit gasses furry con

Let's ask Tumbles the Stairdragon!
But yeah, the furry fandom definitely attracts some unique personalities. It would not be completely surprising if a disgruntled furry decided to seek vengeance or something. Usually that just involves gossip and shunning rather than chemical warfare though, so there would definitely have to be some major underlying issues as well. In which case those issues would be at fault, rather than furriness. Most furry fights are on-par with cliques of teenage girls not terrorist organizations.

Let me clarify that not EVERYBODY who dresses like a Sonic the Hedgehog fan-character and dances in disturbing groupings of like-minded people is inherently insane. I will, however, stand by my assertion that such a group of individuals is more likely to include those who would objectively be deemed mentally unstable. And, with the proliferation of information in this day and age, it wouldn't surprise me if this gassing was done by an unhinged furry.
